Kraft Heinz recalls contaminated Wild Cherry flavored Capri Sun pouches
Kraft Heinz reported the intentional review of 5,760 instances of Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend pockets on Monday.
Just those enhanced Capri Sun items with June 25, 2023 "Best When Used By" date are being reviewed, the organization said.
The organization says weakened cleaning arrangement, used to clean food handling hardware in its processing plants, was "coincidentally presented" into a creation line, defiling the beverages.
Kraft Heinz said it became mindful of the issue solely after shoppers revealed issues with the flavor of the impacted juices.
The organization said it "is effectively working with retail accomplices and merchants to eliminate possibly influenced item from flow."
Any individual who purchased these refreshments is encouraged not to drink the item and can return it to the store where it was bought.
